The ultimate goal of The ORIGINS Project is to reduce the rising epidemic of non-communicable diseases through 'a healthy start to life'.
As well as ORIGINS long-term core research, there are a number of clinical trials, early interventions and shorter-term research studies that sit within the project.
The ORIGINS Project provides researchers, students, clinicians and universities with a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in changing the health of future generations.
Telethon Kids Institute recently hosted almost 200 prospective Honours, M.D., Masters and PhD students, at their Prospective Student Evening.
Students had the opportunity to learn more about becoming a student with the Institute and spoke with project leaders and current students about opportunities for postgraduate research.
The ORIGINS Project team were inundated with queries about how to become involved in the project, with many students wanting to learn more about what was involved.
For more information about the honours or postgraduate projects available within The ORIGINS Project, check out our For Students page.
